We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership between Mother Mary Lange Catholic School (MMLCS) and the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC), a collaboration that promises to enrich our community and support our families like never before.
A New Era of Educational Support for UMMC Families
This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to education, community engagement, and the well-being of our families. UMMC team members with children enrolled at MMLCS will now have access to an exclusive financial support program designed to make quality education more accessible. Here’s how it works:
- Financial Support: Eligible UMMC team members will receive financial aid for their children’s tuition at MMLCS. Full-time team members can receive $1,000, and part-time team members $500, per child enrolled, subject to applicable taxes.
- Eligibility: Open to children of UMMC team members entering Pre-Kindergarten through 7th grade. Eligibility extends beyond Baltimore city residents, requiring continued employment at UMMC throughout the school year.
- Responsibilities: Parents are responsible for securing their child’s acceptance to MMLCS, submitting necessary documentation to UMMC’s HR, and maintaining open communication for the smooth administration of benefits.
